The Team

Our team has years of experience in both professional and social events. The co-founders each owned and operated their separate event planning companies and bring together 30 years of combined experience, expertise in planning, hosting, and organizing events . A passion-driven leader, Terri focuses on the needs and goals of Apex and their clients. As Co-Founder of Apex Corporate Events, Terri is a certified Events Planner, and she sets the tone for the company culture and client services. Specializing in collaboration, “adaptability and outstanding interpersonal skills,”, she’s planned every type of event you can imagine—from concerts to corporate and special events. A Louisiana native and born entertainer outstanding connector, she boosts years of hosting the most memorable events. If you attended any special Event she’s hosted, you will typically find a diverse audience, celebrity guests and “all asking, when and where is the next event.?” Terri brings years of leadership experience, a solid work ethic and a passion to make every event Extraordinary.

Tonya Thomas

National Communication, Events & Training Director

Known for her superior organizational skills, passion for logistics and a knack for getting to the heart of matters, Tonya is no-nonsense and all about getting things done, with Excellence! As co-founder Tonya is a certified Events Planner as well as a certified Etiquette Trainer and dedicated to ensuring her clients experience is unmatched. She brings forth unique ideas, attention to detail, and skilled with tackling challenging problems with creative solutions and a hospitality focused approach. Experienced in trainings, hosting conferences all over the US, and just knowing how to have FUN. She is also a Louisiana native. If you enjoy the finer things in life, Tonya will ensure you achieve the very Best and she will not settle until she Exceeds her Clients’ expectations. Tonya also has experience in planning a host of other large scale events over the years.
